  • A gift of $35 could fill a gas tank for someone to commute to their job or medical appointments, allow a parent to buy their child a birthday gift, or cover the cost of prescription drugs.

  • A gift of $350 might cover the cost of a utility bill, purchase a new air conditioner or new bedding, or pay for an extra curricular activity for a young child.

  • A gift of $3,500 could provide tuition for seven 6th grade students to attend Camp Bournedale, install a handicap ramp, or provide resources in the wake of a natural disaster.

Gifts of Stock: Donating appreciated stock/securities has several advantages and is a simple way you can invest in Scituate Community Christmas’ year round giving mission.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) from IRA: Starting at age 72 a distribution may be made directly to Scituate Community Christmas and may count toward satisfying your required minimum distribution.

Legacy Giving Options: This includes life insurance, a planned gift in your will or trust, or naming Scituate Community Christmas as a beneficiary.
