As we look forward to Spring, Scituate High School students will soon begin to think about the Junior Prom. Costs associated with this fun and memorable celebration can quickly add up--but Scituate Community Christmas is here to help. If you or someone you know could use a hand with affording prom essentials, connecting with us is easy and kept strictly confidential.
April 2024: In the past month, our intake team delivered more than $12k in direct assistance to those friends and neighbors in need. With your support, we:
Covered the cost of the beloved Gates Middle School tradition Camp Bournedale for two sixth grade students, bringing the total number of students assisted to 10;
Supported three single parents by providing birthday supplies, gifts and clothing for children; gas gift cards to get to work; and emergency and essential home supplies;
Covered the cost of Drivers Education for a Scituate High School student;
Provided an elderly community member assistance with essential medicine and household items;
Covered the cost of gymnastics classes and recreation activities for three elementary school students.
